Education and Training: Received initial hypnosis training from Healthy
Visions Hypnosis of Oak Ridge, TN. Certified Member of the National
Guild of Hypnotists, the largest and oldest hypnosis organization of its
kind. Also member of the International Association of Counselors and
Therapists, and the American College of Hypnotherapy. Required to
complete annual continuing education, to maintain training at a high level.
Attended the Advanced Hypnotist course by Master Hypnotist Gil
Boyne. Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Ordained Minister and
Reiki Master. Eric has been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
since 1978. In 2006 he became a Board Certified Hypnotist by the
NGH. He is also 5-PATH® Certified, Certified ARCH Past Life
Integration Practitioner and he has earned the EFT—Advanced
Certificate of Completion.

EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING STANDARDS FOR THE
PRACTICE OF HYPNOTISM. THIS STATEMENT OF
CREDENTIALS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
The services I render are held out to the public as a form of motivational
coaching combined with instruction in self-hypnosis. I do not represent
my services as any form of health care or psychotherapy, and despite
research to the contrary, by law I may make no health benefit claims for
my services. Under Texas law a hypnotherapist may not provide a
medical diagnosis or recommend discontinuance of medically prescribed
treatments. If a client desires a diagnosis or any other type of treatment
from a different practitioner, the client may seek such services at any
time. In the event services are terminated by a client, the client has a
right to coordinated transfer of services to another practitioner. A client
has a right to refuse hypnosis services at any time. A client has a right to
be free of physical, verbal or sexual abuse. A client has a right to know
the expected duration of treatment, and may assert any right without
retaliation.”
Redress: I am a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists,
and practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If
you ever have a complaint about my services or behavior that I cannot
resolve for you personally, you may contact the National Guild of
Hypnotists at P.O. Box 308, Merrimack, NH 03054-0308, (603) 429-
9438, to seek redress. Other services than my own may be available to
you in the community. You may locate such providers in the telephone
book.
Fees: Free consultations. Sessions are by appointment only. Require a
credit card number or an advanced payment (check/cash) to hold and
confirm an appointment. Clients making cancellations, missing
appointments or rescheduling on the same day as the appointment will
be charged for the time scheduled for that day. Credit cards will not be
charged unless you do not show up, cancel or reschedule your
appointment without the required one working day (i.e. Monday –
Friday) notice. The basic charge for our services is $100.00 + tax per
hour. Stop Smoking is 2 sessions--$150.00 + tax for the first and
$100.00 + tax for the second. There is a one year guarantee and a
certificate. The guarantee states, “If you start smoking anytime within a
one year period, the session is repeated at no cost to the client.” Group
rates are available for Weight Loss and Stop Smoking. HypnoBirthing
classes are a flat fee of $350.00 + tax for 5 sessions, the HypnoBirthing
book, a CD, and unlimited follow-up questions. You will be given 30
days notice of any change in fees. Accept Visa, Master Card, Discover,
and American Express. Do not accept insurance, but will assist you with
the papers.
Confidentiality: I will not release any information to anyone without a
written authorization from you, except as provided for by law. You have
a right to be allowed access to our written record about you.
Insurance: I suggest you think of my services as something that you will
pay for personally. That will both protect your privacy and help you
value the work you are doing more. In general, insurance companies do
not like to cover hypnotic services, and I caution you not to expect them
to do so.
Approach: I believe in the old saying, “People don’t care how much
you know, until they know how much you care.” I take a personal
interest in each client and do my best to help them achieve their goal.
